About this blog

We write articles mainly about visitor management, which helps you to know who is (or has been) in your facility. It is just part of an organization’s physical security processes that protect people and property within and around a building or campus.

Visitor Pass Solutions by Data Management, Inc.       MetroHartford Alliance

March 28, 2018 — Farmington, Conn. — Data Management, Inc., a privately owned producer of visitor security badges and visitor management software in Farmington, announced today that it is becoming a Strategic Partner with the MetroHartford Alliance.

DMI, a national and global company founded in 1961, provides visitor badges for hundreds of corporations, healthcare facilities, schools, and government agencies “right here in Connecticut,” says CEO Dan Hincks, a Farmington native. “For our customers that are close to home, we love getting out and showing them in person how powerfully effective visitor management solutions are in protecting an organization’s vital assets.” (See FOX 61’s “Work in CT” broadcast about DMI.)

“In all kinds of economic environments, Data Management has stayed profitable while launching new products into new markets worldwide,” said Brian Gallagher, President and COO of DMI. “Our biggest and fastest-growing security-oriented division, Visitor Pass Solutions, comprises three innovative product lines. “One Day” time-expiring visitor badges change color overnight to prevent unauthorized usage. Easy-to-use “eVisitorPass” visitor management software provides reliable visitor badging, cloud-based tracking and data access, and convenient reporting. And two-part Registry Books let visitors sign-in and badge themselves, while making a confidential duplicate record at the same time.”

“We are extremely excited to join our sister company, Infinity Music Hall & Bistro, as a strategic partner of the MetroHartford Alliance,” added Dan, who owns Infinity. “We have seen firsthand the impact partnering with the MHA can have on growing our business and are excited to add Data Management to the Alliance.”

“We’re pleased to add such a high-growth, innovative manufacturing company as Data Management to our Strategic Partner investment group,” said Nancy Wheeler, Senior Vice President, Executive Director, Investor Relations at the MetroHartford Alliance. “We look forward to adding this dynamic partner to our existing network of companies at the Alliance as we lead the economic development efforts of the Hartford Region.”
