The COVID-19 pandemic has made us better aware of — and careful about — our surroundings, including the people we encounter in public spaces.

We understand, especially now, the importance of scrutinizing visitors at our places of work before allowing them to enter. This follows best security practices and should continue.

In support of our visitor policies, we each need a visitor management system that does the following:

In short, an effective visitor management system should tell us who has permission to be in our facility and who does not.

But what happens when we fail to manage our visitors properly?

Any unauthorized visitor should be considered a security breach, with assumed bad consequences. These include the following:
